About

Panther Creek Country Club offers children age’s 6 to 18 a summer of fun, exercise, and swimming instruction. Our extensive program offers eight scheduled practice sessions per week. We will be splitting morning practices into two practice sessions based on age. The first group (ages 6-10) will practice from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Dividing age groups will allow us to give each swimmer the attention they deserve to make sure they are learning and practicing their swimming skills correctly. The practice structure will begin with stretching , followed by 45 minutes of swimming, and will end with dryland (strength exercises on the pool deck). Both groups will practice at the same time for evening practices and Saturday practice.

Volunteer Policies

Running an effective and organized swim meet is not an easy task and can not be done alone. We will rely on one parent for each swimmer to volunteer and work at each home swim meet to keep the meet running as smooth as possible. Warm-up and volunteer instruction will be given 30 minutes before the start of each swim meet. One of the following jobs will be assigned: 1 head timer, 1 announcer, 16 lane timers, 2 computer operators, 2 averages, 2 bullpen supervisors, 2 runners, and 1 ribbon assembler.
